David primarily practices criminal and juvenile law, as well as handling administrative law cases such as license revocations.

During law school, David participated in Mock Trial, interned with the County Attorney’s Office, and completed the Drake Criminal Defense Legal Clinic. He worked at Cunningham and Kelso until joining the Branstad & Olson team in 2022.

David received his Bachelor of Arts from Coe College in 2016 and his Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School with high honors in 2020.

Outside of the office, David spends his time at the gym, playing sports, and volunteering with the Homeless Veteran Standdown in Des Moines.
